WG Games and Reshade

I have been using Reshade with various games for some time.  It works wonders with most games.

ReShade is a generic post-processing injector for games and video software developed by crosire. Imagine your favorite game with ambient occlusion, real depth of field effects, color correction and more … ReShade exposes an automated and generic way to access both frame color and depth information (latter is automatically disabled during multiplayer to prevent exploitation) and all the tools to make it happen.

Recently AMD developed a Contrast and Sharpness segment as part of their drivers for the new RX5700.  Some modders have been able to incorporate this into ReShade and it makes a big difference in the game graphics for me.  Thought I would share it here…

First you must install ReShade.  Go to the web site download and install it.  Instructions are on the site and its simple.

After installation, copy the CAS.fx file in the attached zip file into the reshade-shaders/shaders directory and start the game.

After some experimentation, I thought I would add to this post.  Here are my settings for ReShade on WoWP/WoT

The first three are very good and the last three make slight differences.  I was going for clarity, sharpness, and lighting. I did not use any for color enhancement.

Here are some comparison shots.  In hangar and in battle.

And remember these shots are taken using my mods, so it may look somewhat different than yours

Enjoy!
