Grandpa’s All-In-One (XVM)
KISS XVM Description

I use XVM and PMOD to do what I would need multiple other mods to accomplish. Contrary to what you may read on the forums, XVM does not interfere with FPS and if you do not want the player statistics, don’t register on the XVM web site.

KISS All-in-One (AIO) consists of the following:

NOTICE:

  • This download is ONLY the configuration files and necessary icons.
  • You must install the current version of XVM and PMOD first, then install the configuration files next.
  • The configurations for XVM and PMOD will work separately as stand-alones or together for the full KISS Interface.

XVM – changes to the xvm config.

  • Custom Damage Log
  • Custom Hitlog
  • Clock in Hangar
  • Custom carousel with statistics
  • Battle efficiency in hangar
  • Gun Constraints
  • Custom enemy spotted markers
  • Custom Over Target Markers (OTM)
  • Custom rising killed ghost
  • Custom debug panel
  • Anti-mirror icons

PMOD

  • Sniper zoom
  • Zoom indicator
  • Session statistics
  • Custom After Battle Reports
  • Camera zoom

ADDITIONAL MODS – I also use these, but they not inclued in the KISS XVM dowload

Grandpa’s All-In-One (KISS)
KISS No XVM Description

This is an All-In-One (AIO) of the KISS Battle Interface without XVM. Rather than XVM it uses PMOD and WGMods Essentials to accomplish the hangar and battle interface, it DOES NOT have any player statistics.

Features:

For the latter mods *, you will need to download the mod from the external site, install it, then copy/paste Grandpa’s configurations into the mods directory.

Move the grandpa_<damage, battle, tankmen>_icons.wotmod file from the current version directory to the res/mods/<current game verson> directory

Keeping KISS Updated with WGMods

Keeping KISS Updated with WGMods

Use of WGMods allows you to use the installer to install and configure the mods you want to use, this allows users to update faster to the various updates. The two primary parts of AIO are WGMods Essentials and PMOD.

  • For the core of KISS I am using WGMods Essentials this allows me to get updates to the “core” parts of KISS without searching for numerous mods all over the net. Images showing the choices I made from WGMods Essentials are included below. These mods include:
    • PMOD current version
    • Gun constraints
    • Safeshot
    • Large ammo counter
    • Fog and visibility mods
    • Quick repair
  • I then add my mods files to the WGMods Essentials to get the AIO.  You can still download the AIO as one download or you can add other WGMods Essentials to can create your own battle interface..
    • KISS Crosshairs mod
    • Grandpa’s Custom Icon Mod (puts icons in the res_mods folder. If WG adds new icons, the WG new will show as default)
    • Zayaz’s Damage Panel
    • Unit Detected 6th Sense sound
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • Download the archive (.zip)
  • Open the .zip file
  • Inside you will find two directories (mods and res_mods).
    • First copy/move mods and res_mods folders from the .zip file to the World of Tanks main directory
  • For XVM version, go to MODXVM.com, login and “Activate Net Services” if you DO NOT want the statistics to show, just the other parts of the interface, skip this step.
KISS UPDATES

NOTICE: When updating from an older version, please DELETE all the old files first, then install new files. This is especially true in the World of Tanks/mods directory. You will get an error if there is a duplicate, or when you go into battle, you will not have an interface.

This is only the Updates page, to get more information, screenshots and videos of KISS, see Grandpa’s KISS Battle Interface (AIO)

Let me know if you find any other issues.

  1. Getting the correct quotation mark did fix the battle loading issue of mirrored vehicles (and got me the correct sort order in the carousel).
In kiss.xc at the bottom you can change the sounds enable to true and you can use the WG sounds again (including your own).

    1. Where was the quotation mark? That’s what I am missing, don’t see any issues in kiss.xc, is that where it was?

  2. Where is the settings for the sixthSense sound? I want to use the one from 4tankersanddog, but now that the config is loaded correctly I can hear you’ve put up a special one…

    1. If XVM Version then sixth sense sound is controlled by WG settings, go into WG settings/sound and set it to default. That should work.

If No XVM version sixth sense sound is a mod, res_mods/x.x.x/scripts/client/gui/mods/ delete all that say SixthSenseSoundTimeIcon in them and then install your mod

  3. I found the error – I had copy-pasted the line about carousel from this site – and apparantly WP replaces the quotation marks with some other char to make the quotation marks look “pretty” and thus generating an error in XVM and the config isn’t loaded properly…

  4. For some absurd reason the mirrored vehicle icons is ignored and they’re always mirrored :/
    It’s in kiss.xc

    1. They are only mirrored in BattleLoading, they are not in PlayersPanel. It seems to be a XVM issue, I am researching it now. It is defaulting to the WG BattleLoading screen rather than XVM

  5. Hello! Thanks for the awesome mods!! After the 9.15.1.1 update the enemy’s reload time in the DamageLog is not showing anymore, just the “Ready” message, i found this feature to be one of the best i’ve ever seen, is there a way to fix it? I did a clean XVM + AIO install. Regards.

    1. I’ll take a look, didn’t notice it when I was testing, but attention to detail is not my strong suit..

      In the meantime try this..

In res_mods/configs/DamageLog/Timer.cfg about line 8 change “animation” : false, to “animation” : true,

My desktop is updating right now and as soon as possible I will test in game, but bet this is it.
